University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne

In addition to the main campus in Reims, the university has several campuses located throughout the Grand Est region, in Châlons-en-Champagne, Charleville-Mézières, Chaumont, and Troyes.

The 'Collège des Bons-Enfants' Catholic school thus became a university, teaching the arts, theology, law and medicine.

The creation of an IUT in Troyes (1973), an Institute of Higher Technical Education (1985) and an IUT department (1995) in Charleville-Mezieres, the development of a delocalized office of the Faculties of Law, Economics and Humanities of Reims (1991) and the opening of an IUT department in Châlons-en-Champagne (1993) all became part of the university and in 1982, it was renamed the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne.

The University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne has 8 UFR: The university has two doctoral schools: Humanities & Social Sciences, and Technology & Health Sciences.
