[2] There is no state religion in the Bahamas, and there is generally free practice of religious beliefs; since the English colonization, most Bahamians adhere to diverse Protestant denominations with Baptist churches/Evangelicals, Pentecostalism, Adventism and Methodism being at the forefront.
