Retreat, Texas

Retreat is a town in Navarro County, Texas, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 5.0 square miles (13 km2), of which, 5.0 square miles (13 km2) are land and 0.04 sq mi (0.10 km2) (0.40%) is covered by water.

After World War II, the store closed, but the population in recent years has increased because of the community's proximity to Corsicana.

The racial makeup of the town was 91.45% White, 4.72% African American, 2.65% Pacific Islander, 1.18% from other races.

About 9.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

The Town of Retreat is served by the Corsicana Independent School District.
