He previously served as the island's first Premier between 2011 and 2014 as well as Chief Minister between 1991 and 1996 and 2009 to 2011.
A member of the United Alliance, he used to be part of the Movement for Change and Prosperity (MCAP).
[3] Meade was congratulated by his political opponent, Lewis, and said that the revival of the economy of Montserrat would be his main priority.
Meade finished seventh in the vote total, retaining his seat in the Legislative Assembly.
