Rex Taylor (November 1, 1889 – December 27, 1968) was an American screenwriter.

He was born in Iowa and died in San Pedro, California.

He married the actress Irma Taylor (née Whepley) in about 1910; the 1920 and 1930 United States Census Records show the couple as living in Los Angeles in 1920 and 1930.
