Richard Saeger

Richard Edwin "Rich" Saeger (born March 4, 1964) is an American former competition swimmer, 1984 Olympic gold medalist, and former world record-holder in the 4x100-meter freestyle relay.

At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, Saeger earned a gold medal by swimming for the winning U.S. team in the final of the men's 4×200-meter freestyle relay.

[5] [6] Most significantly, Saeger won a gold medal in the 4x200-meter freestyle relay in Guayaquil, Ecuador, at the 1982 World Aquatics Championships.

He again won gold in the 4x200 at the 1983 Pan American Games and added a silver in the 4x200 at the 1983 Universiade in Edmonton.
