Richard W. Story

[1] He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from LaGrange College in 1975 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1978.

He was a part-time special assistant attorney general of Georgia from 1980 to 1984.

[2] Story was a part-time judge of the Juvenile Court of Hall County, Georgia from 1985 to 1986.

He was a Chief Judge, Northeastern Judicial Circuit of the Superior Court of Georgia from 1986 to 1997.

He was confirmed by the United States Senate on January 28, 1998, and received his commission on February 4, 1998.
