Richton is a town in Perry County, Mississippi, United States.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.3 square miles (6.0 km2), all land.
As of the 2020 United States census, there were 920 people, 345 households, and 205 families residing in the town.
32.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
