He has a Bachelor's degree in commerce and accounting from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology and served as the governor of the Central Bank of Solomon Islands from 1993 to 2008,[3] before becoming Senior Advisor to the Executive Director of the World Bank, and then going into politics.
