Rigside is a small village in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, about 5 miles (8 kilometres) from the town of Lanark, and less than 1 mi (1.6 km) from Douglas Water.
The village has one shop, a takeaway cafe, a public house, and a doctor's surgery.
The houses in the village are heated in order by ASHP, coal, oil, and LPG.

Drumalbin is a Met Office weather station near Rigside, situated at an elevation of 245 m.
