Ringoes is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP)[5] located within East Amwell Township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.
The 187-acre (76 ha) historic district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 20, 1999, for its significance in agriculture, architecture, education, industry, exploration, and transportation.

The former Washington Hotel was built around 1838 with Colonial Revival style.
