Rita C. Meyer (born 1951) is an American politician who served as Wyoming State Auditor from 2007 to 2011.
[1] Instead of seeking a second term as auditor in 2010, Meyer ran unsuccessfully as a candidate in the 2010 Wyoming gubernatorial election.
[2] She also served on the University of Wyoming Board of Trustees and as head of the Service Academy Nomination Committee for Senator Malcolm Wallop.
Meyer served for more than twenty-three years as an enlisted airwoman and officer in the Wyoming Air National Guard, having attained the rank of full colonel in July 2004.
Her final overseas assignment was as a Mission Support Group Commander at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.
