River Dell Regional School District

The River Dell Regional School District is a regional school district serving students in seventh through twelfth grades from the communities of River Edge and Oradell in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.

[6] In October 1975, a Superior Court judge sentenced to jail 75 of 200 striking members of the River Dell Education Association for violating a back-to-work order that he had issued earlier in the month.

The judge also mandated that the striking employees contribute $250 towards a scholarship fund,[7] President Ronald Reagan spoke at the high school on June 21, 1984, where he advocated on behalf of a drinking age of 21 as a minimum standard.

As a Type II school district, the board's trustees are elected directly by voters to serve three-year terms of office on a staggered basis, with three seats up for election each year held (since 2012) as part of the November general election.
