Rob Simmons (rugby union)

Rob Simmons (born 19 April 1989 in Theodore, Queensland) is an Australian rugby union footballer.

He made his Super Rugby debut for the Queensland Reds in South Africa off the bench against the Bulls at the beginning of the 2009 season.

[6] Simmons scored with a 2nd minute intercept try in Australia's Rugby World Cup 2015 Semi-final win over Argentina.

[13] In early 2018, Simmons left the Queensland Reds and joined fellow Australian Super Rugby team, the New South Wales Waratahs.

[14][15] In July 2020, it was announced that Simmons would join English Premiership Rugby side London Irish ahead of the 2020–21 season.
