Robert C. Belloni

He was instrumental in upholding Native American fishing rights in the Pacific Northwest.

Some sources state that he was born in Riverton, Oregon.

[1] He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oregon in 1941 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1951.

[2] Belloni was nominated by President Lyndon B. Johnson on February 21, 1967, to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of Oregon vacated by Judge William G. East.

His service terminated on November 3, 1999, due to his death of congestive heart failure in a retirement home in San Mateo, California.
