Robert M. Bowman Jr.

Robert M. Bowman Jr. (born August 10, 1957) is an American Evangelical Christian theologian specializing in the study of apologetics.

[1][2] From 2006 to 2008 he was manager of Apologetics and Interfaith Evangelism for the North American Mission Board (based in Alpharetta, Georgia), an agency of the Southern Baptist Convention.

[3] From 2008 to 2018 he served as the executive director of the Institute for Religious Research, an independent, evangelical nonprofit organization (formerly located in Grand Rapids, now based in Cedar Springs, Michigan).

[4] Bowman is the author of over sixty articles and of fifteen books.

[5] Four of his earliest books were theological critiques of the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses.
