Robin Leamy (born April 1, 1961) is an American former competition swimmer of Samoan and New Zealand descent[1] who participated in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California.
He earned a gold medal by swimming for the winning U.S. team in the preliminary heats of the 4×100-meter freestyle relay.
Leamy received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he played both water polo (under coach Bob Horn) and swam (for coach Ron Ballatore).
In addition he anchored the 4x100 yard freestyle relay which set an American and U.S. Open Record, and captured UCLA's first and only NCAA swimming championship.
