Rolando Uríos

He moved to Europe for the first time in 1997 to join Hungarian KC Fotex Veszprém.

[2][3] At the age of 51 he made a short comeback for the Spanish second tier side Vestas Alarcos de Ciudad Real.

[5] He won a silver medal at the 2000 Pan American Championship, and was chosen as the player of the tournament.

[8] Cuba suffered 5 defeats and was knocked out in the initial groups, but Uríos was despite that the 4th most scoring player at the tournament.

At the 2006 European Men's Handball Championship he won silver medals with Spain.
