Ronald Joseph Suster (October 31, 1942 – January 15, 2024) was an American jurist and politician who served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1981 until 1995, and as a Common Pleas judge in Cuyahoga County from 1995 until 2012.

[2] Suster attended Western Reserve University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and economics in 1964.

He then earned a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1967, and was elected to their Society of Benchers.

In 1995, he resigned from the House of Representatives when he was appointed to the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas by Governor George Voinovich.

He was a judge in the court's General Division until his mandatory retirement at age 70 in 2012,[6] though he occasionally was assigned to adjudicate further cases.

Suster married Patricia Hocevar on July 19, 1974, at St. Paschal Baylon Parish in Highland Heights, Ohio.
