Rondell White

Rondell Bernard White (born February 23, 1972) is an American former professional baseball player.

[1] In addition to being a solid defensive player, White also had a batting average of .300 or higher for four consecutive seasons from 1998 to 2001.

[1] White is a 1990 graduate of Jones County High School in Gray, Georgia, where he played baseball and basketball.

[2][3] In 1993, White posted an impressive .380 batting average in 42 games for the Ottawa Lynx of the International League, earning him a promotion to the Expos.

[8] On March 19, 2003 he was traded from the Yankees to the San Diego Padres for Bubba Trammell and Mark Phillips.
