[2] Arambulo has been involved since 2008 on grassroots campaigns to help fisherfolk and amplify their issues including reclamation.
[1] PAMALAKAYA has been part of campaign to oppose the reclamation projects as he said that these would greatly harm the livelihood of fisherfolk.
He said that a fisherfolk is needed in the Senate, in order to address issues such as the reclamation of Manila Bay, destruction of marine habitat, oil spill, disasters, and on the West Philippine Sea, asserting the rights of fisherfolk livelihood in the area and in opposing the presence of big powers.
