Rory Hanniffy

Rory G. Hanniffy (born 1982) is an Irish hurler who played as a centre-back for the Offaly senior team.

He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Offaly minor team before later joining the under-21 side.

Hanniffy went on to enjoy a lengthy career, winning two National League (Division 2) medals.

[1] As a member of the Leinster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions, Hanniffy won six Railway Cup medals.

[7] Hanniffy was honoured by his former colleagues on the midland circuit at a dinner in Dublin's prestigious Westin Hotel on the 9th of June 2023.
