Shortly thereafter, the national athletics coach invited her to train at the CONADE's Mexican Paralympic Committee Center.

[3] At the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships, she won the bronze medal in the F55 Shot put, with a throw of 7.45 metres.

At the 2020 Summer Paralympics she finished in third place in the discus throw with a 24.11 meters, winning a bronze medal.

[5] At the 2023 Parapan American Games, she competed in the F55 Discus and Shot put events, winning the silver and bronze respectively.

[6] At the 2024 Summer Paralympics, she repeated her 2020 result winning bronze again with a throw of 25.81 metres, which was also a seasons best for her.
