Rosello

Rosello is a village and comune of the province of Chieti in the Abruzzo region of Central Italy.

The village borders the following comuni : Agnone, Borrello, Giuliopoli, Roio del Sangro and Villa Santa Maria.

The village was first inhabited around the 11th century by Benedictine monks from the Abbey of San Giovanni in Verde.

During the Second World War Rosello was located along the Gustav Line and was destroyed by German soldiers in November of 1943.
