Rowley Douglas

Rowley Douglas MBE (born 27 January 1977 in Washington, D.C., United States) is a coxswain and rowing Olympic champion for Great Britain.

Douglas won a gold medal in the eight at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney as a member of the British rowing team.

He came out of retirement in 2010 in anticipation of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, but a proposed trial at the Team GB training camp in Varese, Italy was scrapped by British Rowing.

[3] Douglas was appointed an MBE (Order of the British Empire) in the 2001 New Year Honours List.
