Rural Valley is a borough in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, United States.

[5] Pennsylvania Route 85 passes through the borough, leading west 12 miles (19 km) to Kittanning and east 14 miles (23 km) to U.S. Route 119 at Home.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 2.1 square miles (5.5 km2), all land.
