The track was first premiered on radio Triple J on 26 September 2019 after being performed live for the first time during Flume's Osheaga Festival set in August.

There were a couple of ideas I resonated with but I really fell in love with this one as soon as I heard the first few chords, which eventually blossomed into 'Rushing Back'.
