Janicijevic made her Grand Slam tournament main-draw debut as a wildcard entrant at the 2019 French Open,[3] losing to Iga Świątek in the first round.

She received a wildcard entry into the Paris WTA 125 event, losing to Magda Linette in the first round in three sets.

In June, Janicijevic won a $25k in Périgueux, defeating top seed Katharina Hobgarski in the final.
