Søren Galatius

Søren Galatius (born 1 August 1976) is a Danish mathematician who works as a professor of mathematics at the University of Copenhagen.

[1] He works in algebraic topology, where one of his most important results concerns the homology of the automorphisms of free groups.

[2] He is also known for his joint work with Oscar Randal-Williams on moduli spaces of manifolds, comprising several papers.

[1] In 2010, Galatius won the Silver Medal of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters.

[4] He was an invited speaker at the 2014 International Congress of Mathematicians, speaking about his joint work with Oscar Randal-Williams.
