Sındırgı, formerly Koruköy and Carseae (Ancient Greek: Κάρσεαι),[2] is a municipality and district of Balıkesir Province, Turkey.

A carpet festival is held in Sındırgı town in every fall season around September, and it is called International Yağcıbedir Festival.
