Słobity

Słobity [swɔˈbitɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Wilczęta, within Braniewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.

[2] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) west of Wilczęta, 28 km (17 mi) south of Braniewo, and 62 km (39 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.

The village had been the property of the Dohna family [de] since 1527.

In March 1945 the palace was burned down and the furnishings stolen by soldiers of the Red Army.
