Saeid Marouf

Mir Saeid Marouf Lakerani (Persian: میرسعید معروف لاكرانی; born 20 October 1985) is an Iranian volleyball setter.

[2] He was named best setter at the 2014 World League and 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic qualifying tournaments, as well as most valuable player at the 2013 Asian Championship.

[6][7] On 25 January 2015, Marouf made his debut in the Russian Super League for Zenit Kazan in a 3–0 straight-sets win over Dynamo Krasnodar.

[8] Marouf after 2019 VNL transferred to Chinese Volleyball Super League for played in Beijing BAIC Motor.

Marouf, along with popular athletes such as Ali Daei, Hamid Sourian and Behdad Salimi, acted as a helper in the fight to eradicate poverty and hunger in the World Food Programme.
