Sahand Rural District (Persian: دهستان سهند)[3] is in the Central District of Osku County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.

[5] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 9,480 in 2,625 households.

[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 9,339 in 3,049 households.

The most populous of its six villages was Esfanjan, with 3,544 people.
