Sakunami Station

Sakunami Station (作並駅, Sakunami-eki) is a railway station in Aoba-ku, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Sakunami Station is served by the Senzan Line, and is located 28.7 rail kilometers from the terminus of the line at Sendai.

Sakunami Station has one side platform and one island platform, connected to the station building by a level crossing.

The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of JNR on 1 April 1987.
