Sam Heazlett

Heazlett made his first-class debut on 6 November 2015 in the 2015–16 Sheffield Shield,[1] scoring a century against Tasmania.

[2] On 29 December 2015 he made his Twenty20 debut for the Brisbane Heat in the 2015–16 Big Bash League.

[4] Heazlett made his List A debut during this winter, playing for the National Performance Squad.

[5] Regardless, he was added to Australia's One Day International (ODI) squad as a replacement for the injured Steve Smith for their series against New Zealand.

Former Australian fast bowler Stuart Clark criticized Heazlett's selection, saying, "You've got a lot of guys running around playing first-class cricket and you go, 'Hang on, why are they not getting an opportunity?'
