Samuel Brinckerhoff "Brinck" Thorne (September 19, 1873 – June 3, 1930) was an American college football player and coach.
He returned to Yale in 1896 to serve as head football coach for a season, during which he guided the Bulldogs to a 13–1 record.
Thorne was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a player in 1970.
Born in New York City, Thorne graduated from Yale University in 1896 and was a member of Skull and Bones.
