Sameh Hassan Shoukry (Arabic: سامح شكري; born 20 October 1952) is an Egyptian diplomat who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2014 to 2024.
[2] Shoukry was a member of the Delegation of Egypt to the 1995 Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) Review Conference.
[3] In 2000, he was Head of Delegation for the Negotiations on the International Treaty to Combat Transnational Organized Crime in Vienna.
[7] Between 2005 and 2008, Shoukry was Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Egypt to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva.
[13] A career diplomat, he had ostensibly retired prior to being appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2014.
