Samuel Kraemer Building

The rich use of Gladding-McBean tile on the entire south and west facades arguably made it the most outstanding building in North Orange County when it was built.

Designed by local architect M. Eugene Durfee, the building was the tallest in Orange County.

The Samuel Kraemer Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

[1] It was noted to be "an excellent example of Renaissance Revival architecture", and to be one of few buildings surviving in Anaheim that featured extensive use of terra cotta glazed tiles.
