The show premiered on 2 March 2014 on Rajya Sabha TV, with an episode scheduled to air every Sunday morning.

The material came from debates, committee meetings and biographies of Jawaharlal Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi.

[8][9][10][11] The series was shot in Film City, Mumbai and recreates the debates that took place before the drafting of the Constitution of India.

For the series, a replica of the Central Hall of Parliament during the time of the Constituent Assembly was set up.
