Sandy Paris

Paris was born in August 1908 at Torphichen, West Lothian.

He was educated at Linlithgow Academy,[1] before matriculating to the Edinburgh College of Art.

He made two further first-class appearances for Scotland, against Yorkshire at Harrogate in 1937, and Ireland at Glasgow in 1938.

[5] In January 1957, Paris was appointed president of the West Lothian County Cricket Association.

[8] He spent the next 19 years teaching at Bathgate, before being appointed to the same role at Whitburn Academy in January 1965.
