Santillana del Mar (Spanish pronunciation: [santiˈʎana ðel maɾ]) is a historic town situated in Cantabria, Spain.

Its many historic buildings attract thousands of visitors every year.

The UNESCO World Heritage Site Cave of Altamira is nearby.
