Sarah Calderwood is an Australian singer-songwriter and flautist who unites classic with contemporary folk.
At 19, she joined Súnas,[1] an Australian Celtic folk group with founding members Mannie McAllister and Paul Brandon.
[5] In 2011, she released her album As Night Falls[6] accompanied the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra conducted by Andrew Greene.
The 11-track album of traditional songs included collaborations by Mike Scott (vocals), musical accompaniment by Alan Kelly on the accordion, Shane Nicholson and Bob Spencer on guitar, Lee Novak on bass, David Jones on percussions.
[10] In 2013, she performed Australia-wide with Paul Brandon of Súnas as an acoustic music duo called The Two Crows.
