Sard-e Sahra Rural District (Persian: دهستان سردصحرا)[3] is in the Central District of Tabriz County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.

[5] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Khelejan,[6] now a neighborhood in the city of Sardrud.

[7] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 12,756 in 3,234 households.

[9] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 6,121 in 1,847 households.
