Sarepta is a town in Webster Parish, Louisiana, United States.
Local history tells that Mrs. Carter donated a Bible to the community church on the premise that it be named for her.
Years later the church split, and the original name became Old Sarepta.

As of the 2020 United States census, there were 717 people, 332 households, and 247 families residing in the town.
