In 2013, the Permanent Representative of Serbia to the United Nations, Feodor Starčević, and the Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, Abdallah Al-Mouallimi, signed a Protocol on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the two countries.
