Saylorville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Polk County, Iowa, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 7.04 square miles (18.2 km2), all land.

There were 1,427 housing units at an average density of 208.5 per square mile (80.5/km2).

17.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

None of the families and 2.1% of the population were living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 5.1% of those over 64.
