Scampston

Scampston is a village and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England.

It lies close to the A64 road, approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Malton.

Until 1974, the village lay in the historic county boundaries of the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Set within the beautiful parkland of Scampston Hall.

On 1 April 1935 the parish of Knapton was abolished and merged with Scampston.
