Schiestler Peak

Schiestler Peak is an 11,624-foot-elevation (3,543-meter) mountain summit located in Sublette County of Wyoming, United States.

Topographic relief is significant as the northeast aspect rises 2,000 feet (610 meters) in one-half mile.

[8] He immigrated to the United States from Austria, and after spending ten years in the east, he arrived in Rock Springs in 1886.

He engaged in sheep raising, succeeding to such an extent that he was considered one of the leading flockmasters of Sweetwater County at the time of his death.
