Schwerzenbach is a municipality in the district of Uster in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland, and belongs to the Glatt Valley (German: Glattal).

Of the rest of the land, 38.5% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (14%) is non-productive (rivers, etc.).

As of 2007[update] 39.8% of the total municipal area was undergoing some type of construction.

Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German (84.8%), with Italian being second most common (3.6%) and Albanian being third (2.0%).
