Scio, Ohio

Scio (/saɪˈoʊ/ SY-oh[4]) is a village in northern Harrison County, Ohio, United States.

[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.56 square miles (1.45 km2), all land.

37.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 16% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

Scio is the midpoint of the multi-use rails-to-trails path, the Conotton Creek Trail.

The trail runs along Conotton Creek and is 11.4 miles (18.3 km) long.

It is paved and wheelchair accessible, and is also suitable for bicycling, rollerblading, and walking.

Students attend the Harrison Hills City School District.
